She says “hi how are you” and I say “Hi I think I’m gonna have-“ and she says again “I said how are you”
We finally get seated and wait 10 minutes before the waitress comes to the table
Very rude and took forever
Hostess asked if a table was okay and said we would wait for a booth but she insisted a table was okay - we decided to wait a few minutes for a booth to become available.
Horrible service
My experience at Baker's Square was on Christmas day so this might not be the normal for them, but the food was not at its best. The coffee was hot but thefood was not. I had the biscuit and gravy and while the biscuit was soft, the gravy was not hot. The strawberry crepe I ordered was rubbery, thick and cold. I am grateful though Bakers Square is open on Christmas day for I am a traveler on Christmas and it is hard to find good places open. I have been coming here for years and it's a hit and miss on the food but the staff has always been friendly and polite.
This place gets a bad rap for being an old people food restaurant but their food is quality as hell. Their pies are bomb af. Love coming here cause it's the only restaurant thay has something like the four square breakfast. Love getting crepes and chicken fried steak with a smooth coffee.
Went to lunch with my girlfriend, we had salads and of course their Delicious pie, good place to relax and our waitress was great.
Then 3 couples behind us were seated immediately in a booth.
Do not think I’ll be returning in the future
This is a nice family friendly restaurant. The breakfast food and pies are their specialty and they are absolutely delicious. It's like a home cooked meal but at a restaurant. The wait is never long at all. Trust me when im hungry i sure dont want to wait to get food because then I'll get hangry. And no one likes anyone when they are hangry. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't already. Prices are reasonable as well.
