There was no way I was going to shower or give my daughter a shower or bath. The tub was so dirty it was gross.
They were doing some updates as far as painting and such so we may have just caught them in the middle of the transition.
Despite the minor complaints, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms was nice and it was a really comfortable place.
I reserved a room online. Arrived and was told no rooms were available on the lower level due to renovations to the tubs. This was not on your site. I needed a handicap room and was told non available. Again not on the website. I said fine when asked if I needed a handicap room and the housekeeping lady stood over to the side with her eyes big when he asked. This was after he told me no lower rooms were available!! Was told non smoking which was great!! But the hallways smelled awful of smoke. Got to our upstairs room. Floor had not be swept. The mirror was dirty and when I handed my daughter the remote it had hair on it. At night we had the heater on but every time it would make a popping sound like someone was trying to get it the door. It made the same sound as it does when you close the door. Then there was a huge gap all the way around the door so I had to use the towels (which were stiff as a board) to place them under the door to stop the breeze and smoke smell from coming inside. We had to end up turning off the heater and I gave my daughter her night time meds so she could sleep soundly. I had to take the blankets off one bed to add them to the other since we turned the heat off. That is when I found dirt and hair in the other bed. I ended up having my daughter sleep on top of the blankets and we used her blanket that we packed to help stay warm.
The location was excellent. Lots of options for food and easy to find. The only complaints were with the cleaning staff vacuuming the halls before check out and banging the vacuum cleaner against the door and the other tenants, which Motel 6 has no control over, getting loud in the hallways.
I was a long time stay for about 3 years and throughout our time we've had excellent service! The staff in the office were so friendly, especially the manager Sharon! The room was always clean, hallways were clean and fresh, even the office was kept clean and organized! All the staff kept a friendly atmosphere where my family and I felt at home! This motel is by far the best and I would highly recommend it!
Then came time to flush the toilet... you had to jiggle the handle or take off the back lid to get enough water to flow back in. I let them know the next morning they were more than willing to give us a different room but we were going to be there only for that remainder of the night. If it had been not flushing then I would have ask for a different room.
For being on the end of the hotel by an exit it was very quiet.
The customer service was outstanding couldn't ask for better service. We received our key went to the room that was supposed to be ours for the wkend and the door was cracked open with the TV on. We opted not to go in thinking that maybe there was a confusion, we called the front desk she told us to come get a different key. Once again she was very pleasant. We understand things happen. We go to the second room and that door was propped open... we decided to check the room out we could tell no one had been in it, just look like the door hadn't been shut all the way. we called the front desk to let them know.
This was the worst stay
They started vacuuming at 7 in the morning right outside the door when check out isn’t till 11. Over all I will never stay there again. Staff was unfriendly when I told them. I told pictures as well. Worst hotel stay. When you have special needs and looked the other way it’s different. Wish I could give no stars
We loved the bed! It definitely could have more options to do there. The hard wood floors were different, but enjoyed staying there. Great price as well.
