Upon returning the vehicle early to avoid the wrath of "dude", I was checked back in by a quiet, but polite young lady. She quickly came to me and had me out of there in a few minutes. She was quick and even asked if I had any questions or concerns before letting me go.
I was there first thing in the morning and they neglected to tell me one of their trucks was defected. Who let's their customers use a product without telling them about the product's defects!? This U-Haul does! The gas tank will only take gas from certain pumps or the safety valve from the pump will not let you refill the truck... Information like that would be nice to know when you are running low on gas and you have to be selective on the gas station you want to stop at. Anyway, after calling customer service, from the Speed Way gas station, the guy was rude and told me I was at fault. But when I took it back the guy inspecting the vehicle said this was a common issue with that truck!!! Get your s*** together!! Bad business all around. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe my mother in law.
I arrived just a couple minutes before 11AM, when I was scheduled to pick up a vehicle for an in-town move. There was firstly nowhere at all to park, so I risked parking in the parking lot of the car wash next door. Then, with only one couple in front of me, there's no one at all in the office for about ten or fifteen minutes. Three more groups of people come inside and we're all waiting for someone to show up here. Finally, a woman comes in, and seeing the line that's formed, loudly yells into her radio headset for everyone to hear, "Dude where are you?! It doesn't take that long to...!" and trailed off into some jargon. She helps the couple in front of me and walks out the building. In another five minutes of myself and two other parties of people renting things, "dude" shows up and begins to "assist" me, by *very* impatiently figuring out what I'm here for. At one point, after I politely asked what the procedure was if I needed more time with the truck than I scheduled, (rain was in the forecast, and I wanted to know about any penalties if I was delayed) and without even looking at me, he snapped back, "If you need more time than 5 hours, you have to tell me now. Like right now." And I responded to the effect of forget it. Just give me the truck. He had me sign and initial things he barely explained, and then walked me out to the truck, and with incredibly forced and borderline condescending courtesy, thanked me and I was on my way.
I'm a 23 year old guy, and I'm certainly used to not receiving the highest respect and honor as maybe a senior citizen would, but this was downright miserable customer service. If I were upper management of this branch, and I hope neither of them were, I would be embarrassed to have people like this working for me.

Very helpful & full service. Only needed boxes & stuff for long distance move.
Very expensive compared to all other storage companies in the area. What I don't like is they offer no type of light or heated units no nearby electrical outlets unless your willing to run a 100 ft exstention cord. Besides that staff is friendly and the place is usually pretty clean.
Unless Uhaul does something to secure my future business, I'd rather pay more somewhere else for decent customer service than be treated like I was here.
