When I finally got my glasses, a week after ordering them, they scratched the lenses while adjusting them!!! So I had to wait another week for new lenses!! They did not offer me anything for my trouble. I hate to say it, but Wal-Mart is better and cheaper
I Just found out today that lens crafters in merrillville at the southlake mall doesn't offer the one hour pick up your new eye glasses service any more, now you have to wate two weeks to be able to pick up your new glasses, this used to be one of the reasons That I would use this store .
Terrible service! High prices!
Have gotten glasses there in past and gotten good service. Purchased glasses on Sat. and when the glasses were finished I was just given the glasses to put on. Had to ask for adjustments to be made. In the past the staff made sure that the glasses were centered on your face, that they fit behind your ears and had you read to check the bifocal position. Don't think I'll go back again.
I went to get contacts and exam. They took my insurance card but then DID not tell me that they did not honor my insurance until I was finished with the exam. The owner was rude and said that her employee's would not have make a mistake like that and would not return my money or even half of it. Do not go to this Lens Crafters. Dishonest Business
I had a wonderful experience at this store. They carry the glasses I like, have weekend hours and get your glasses ready while you shop. Best of all, their customer service is absolutely above and beyond. The two ladies who were there when I visited today as well as the doctor were extremely kind to my daughter and I. I will definitely be returning and recommending this location to others because it's the type of service you would hope for from a family business combined with the convenience of a mall location.
