Yet another store that practices the cruelty of certain hermit crab death. If I could put a zero, I would. I went with my husband and son to look for an addition to our newly tank. The set-up you have for those hermits crabs is inhumane and cruel. It's really sad when a county fair takes better care of them than you do. You know nothing about keeping your crabs!! They are overcrowded, dried out (without humidity needed for modified gills to BREATH) and are forced to surface molt. God how I hope that you see how cruel you are and have the decency to stop selling these animals (who can live up to 30 years by-the-way). I can only imagine how often you have to throw away the dead ones.

I have mixed views about this place. I have bought two dogs here. The most recent dog had an upper respiratory infection that was contagious and spread to the other dogs in my household and my parents household and my brothers household! The vet/pet store did cover all the expenses for only the purchased puppy. My family had to cover their own expenses. I did only the free visit and choose to see my own vet after that. I did google the breeder they got my puppy from, they were not listed as having any violations from the USDA. That put my mind at ease. I was so scared. Be aware. Be smart. And be careful. In the end, my puppy, who named Rosy, will grow to 3 lbs max and has stole our hearts.

Also, the animals (In general) are overcrowded, in very small cages. They need to be closed down.

Love to see the pets, but as a business they are way over priced! You'll get better pets through your local newspaper. They will tell you the pets there are... And then you will find out differently later. Miniature ended up being a medium sized dog, all sales final. Could've gotten 3 for the price we paid.

Bought a dog that was supposed to be all registered. Took her to the vet to get her warrenty activated she supposidly was fine. I noticed she would run into everything I took her back to the vet a day later and she was blind. Had to pay the vet bill out of my pocket don’t ask me why. And I took the dog immediately back to Petland. I showed all paperwork they all acted surprised which I’m sure they knew bc how do you take care of these dogs all day and not know? I knew something was off and had her only a few days. The puppy was 5 months old. Well then the spikey haired old lady proceeded to tell another employee there was no way. I immediately turned around and heard the other lady yes it’s true she has all the paperwork. My thing is why would I pay that much to have a dog to lie about it being blind? She’s ignorant and very rude instead of apologizing and being sympathetic about me having to give a puppy back you wanna run your mouth. They gave my money back but I don’t recommend that place for puppy’s.

My husband and I bought our daughter a 8wk old puppy in January of 2017 a Pomeranian. My family grew to love and treat this puppy like the baby of the family. Everything was ok she would get sick from time to time nothing to serious. On October 7th 2017 we had to put her to sleep after being diagnosed with Evans syndrome. We tried everything we could to save her life, we went to three different vets in 1 day. She had a blood transfusion and went into cardiac arrest 2 times. I do feel as though we received a sick pup. I just don't understand how the store was not aware of her illness. We paid 1500 for our baby. The store manager has offered to give us another dog but not a refund. This event has damaged my family in such a way. 2 months later and I am still crying myself to sleep. I wanted to read other reviews to see if I should go back to the store or find a breeder, but while reading I just thought I should share our story. I'm really not sure if we should ever go back to this store.....
