Awesome staff and great place
Treated my little pup so well, couldn't ask for any better
I have two small dogs that have been groomed many times at Hungry Hound w/out issues, so would otherwise recommend them. However, at the end of August, one of my dogs was in great pain due to anal glands (which were expressed) and a lower body rash that included a cut on her tail. She was in pretty severe pain since her return. I waited one day then took her to the emergency room the next morning. It took days of medication and cream for her to return to normal. When I called the Hungry Hound within a few days, the person on the phone was very apologetic and said she would have the owner call the next day. She didn't call the next day but waited a business week. When she called, she indicated there was nothing the groomer did that would have caused that and inquired instead why I waited "two weeks" to call. I actually called right away, but it was the business that took a week to return my call. While I normally am happy with their service and actually spend quite a bit on food and treats there too, I'll not be returning. If something more serious were to happen, or even if something like that were to happen again, I'm not sure that their response would be sympathetic.
