1st time at this store. Bright, clean, COLD. Lot of interesting stuff. If buying in bulk, but not for an instution or school, just for family the prices are no better than a little higher than the nearest Sam's Club a few miles west on U.S.30
A smaller store but the staff is amazing...

Better than Meijer in terms of buying bulk but not as good as Costco, etc. Good people working hard there, very friendly. Will be going back.
Okay this is bad news for Sam's Club, Costco, Myers and anyone else wants to step in this Arena. Without paying $40 to $110 membership there's Gordon's. This store specialize in big bulks like the other big name stores. This store does not seem to be scared of competition. There's big quantity items as well is smaller proportion items in this unit. There's household items, catering items, plates, forks spoons, frozen items & fresh items as well in big quantities. Yes this place is taking the big giant head on within numerous locations within the Chicago and northwest Indiana area. Good individual bathrooms as well as outstanding door to facility handicap parking. Even though this store does not sell (or at least in this location) Electronics or furniture, I will still consider Gordon's to be a serious threat in the bulk industry of household items and Catering. They're also pre orders and deliveries as well as business account to have even additional discounts on top of the non membership savings.
They have my favorite seasonings in big economical sizes. Cheaper than the grocery stores (per ounce).
